To begin, you will need to gather clay blocks, which can be found near rivers and lakes or obtained by using a shovel on dirt. Once you have clay blocks, you can convert them into clay balls which will be used in the crafting process. The next step is to smelt the clay balls into terracotta by placing them in the top slot of a furnace and fueling the bottom slot with any suitable combustible item, such as wood or coal.
